Project Description

My name is Mayte Marín, and I’m a Cuban immigrant, paralegal student, and Employment Specialist at the International Rescue Committee (IRC). I launched VisaLink, a bilingual legal and HR support business, to help immigrants thrive in the U.S. workforce—and to support the companies that hire them.

Every day, businesses struggle to navigate complex hiring rules, and immigrant workers face barriers with resumes, job readiness, and documentation. VisaLink bridges this gap by offering:

  • Legal form assistance (I-9, work permits, USCIS support)

  • Resume creation and job coaching

  • HR compliance training for companies and staffing agencies

We are seeking $5000 to:

  • Build our website and e-learning platform

  • Create professional HR training packages

  • Expand outreach through digital campaigns

  • Cover startup legal, software, and marketing costs

Our team is led by me, a passionate advocate for immigrants, with firsthand experience in both legal and workforce systems. I'm deeply committed to empowering our community with tools, knowledge, and opportunity.

Thank you for believing in this mission. Every dollar helps us create safer, more inclusive, and more successful workplaces for immigrants across the U.S.

With gratitude,
Mayte Marín
